Quotation
The pricing section of your proposal, with line items, groups, discounts, and VAT controls.
Overview
The Quotation section is where you present your pricing. It supports multiple layouts, grouped line items, optional extras, and flexible VAT display options.
Layouts
| Layout | Description |
|---|---|
| Classic Table | Traditional table layout with columns for description, quantity, unit price, and total. |
| Minimal | Streamlined pricing with a cleaner, less detailed presentation. |
| Two Column | Pricing split across two columns for a structured look. |
| Hero Total | Large, prominent total with supporting line item details beneath. |
Line Items
Each line item includes a description, quantity, and unit price. The total is calculated automatically.
Groups
Organise your line items into named groups (e.g. "Sound", "Lighting", "Staffing") with subtotals for each group. Each group can also include rich text notes to provide additional context.
Discounts and Add-ons
- Discount: apply a percentage or fixed amount discount to the total
- Add-ons: optional extras that the client can toggle on or off when viewing the proposal
VAT Display
Control how VAT appears on your quotation. Options include shown (VAT displayed), hidden (VAT calculated but not shown to the client), or none (no VAT applied). Configure your default VAT settings in Settings > VAT & Currency.
PDF Attachment
If you prefer, you can upload a separate quotation PDF instead of (or alongside) the built-in pricing table. The recipient sees a download link on the live proposal page.
The uploaded quotation PDF is not bundled into the proposal PDF download. It stays as a standalone file the recipient downloads from the live proposal. Only Technical Specification attachments are auto-appended as a Technical Appendix.
Current RMS Integration
If you have connected Current RMS, you can pull groups and line items directly from your CRM opportunities. See Integrations for setup details.
Paul does not populate quotation line items. Fill these in yourself or pull them from Current RMS.
