Two types of conversation

Proposal conversations

An activity timeline for each proposal, showing status changes, client views, and team messages. Everything related to a proposal in one place.

Team chat

A general channel for team-wide discussion, plus direct messages between team members. Available on the Team plan.

Proposal conversations

Every proposal has its own conversation thread. This is where you will see:

  • Status changes (sent, viewed, accepted, declined)
  • Client view notifications
  • Messages from you and your team about the proposal

On the Team plan, use @ mentions to include specific team members in a conversation. They will be notified and can join the discussion. (On the Solo plan, proposal conversations show activity events only, with no team messaging.)

Team chat

The team chat area includes a general channel for company-wide discussion and direct messages for private conversations between two team members.

Real-time features

Conversations are powered by Supabase Realtime, which means:

  • Messages appear instantly, with no need to refresh
  • Typing indicators show when someone is composing a message
  • Online presence dots show who is currently active

System messages

Platform announcements and important updates appear in a dedicated system channel, keeping you informed about new features and changes.

On the Solo plan, conversations show proposal activity (status changes and view notifications). Team messaging, direct messages, and the general channel are available on the Team plan.
Use proposal conversations to keep all client-related discussion in one place. This avoids scattered email threads and makes it easy to review the history of any proposal.
