Power Mode

Edit proposals in a distraction-free pop-out window.

What Power Mode is

Power Mode opens the edit panel in a separate browser window, giving you a distraction-free editing experience. The main window displays a full-width preview of your proposal, while the pop-out window contains only the edit controls.

How to open Power Mode

There are two ways to activate Power Mode:

Click the zap icon in the editor toolbar
Press Cmd+Shift+P (Mac) or Ctrl+Shift+P (Windows)

How it works

When Power Mode is active, the editor splits into two windows:

Main window: shows the full-width proposal preview with no edit panel taking up space
Pop-out window: shows only the edit panel for the selected section

Changes sync in real time between both windows using the BroadcastChannel API. Edit in the pop-out and see the preview update instantly in the main window.

Power Mode is ideal for dual-monitor setups. Put the preview on one screen and the edit panel on the other for maximum workspace.

Closing Power Mode

Close the pop-out window to return to the normal three-panel editor layout. All your changes are preserved; nothing is lost when switching modes.

Use Power Mode when fine-tuning content. The full-width preview makes it easier to see exactly what your clients will see, with no edit panel crowding the view.
