Cover
The hero page of every proposal. This is the first thing your client sees.
Overview
The Cover section is always the first section in your proposal and cannot be removed or reordered. It sets the tone for everything that follows, so it is worth spending a moment getting it right.
Fields
- Headline: typically the event name and client (e.g. "Summer Gala | Acme Corp")
- Subheadline: a short supporting line beneath the headline
- Event date: the start date of the event
- End date: optional, for multi-day events
- Venue: the event location
Background
You can set a background image or video for the cover. If you upload a video, it plays silently on loop behind the headline text.
- Ken Burns motion: image backgrounds automatically get a subtle pan-and-zoom effect for added visual impact (a video background plays instead)
- Overlay opacity: use the slider to control how dark the background appears behind your text, ensuring readability
Your default cover image is set in Settings > Brand. Each proposal can override it with its own image.
Company Logo
Your company logo appears automatically on the cover, pulled from your brand settings. There is no need to upload it for each proposal.
Use a high-resolution, landscape-oriented image for the best cover appearance across desktop and mobile.
